What is the deal? I know JDM stands for japanese domestic market, but I am constantly debating this one question..Is everything made in Japan, JDM?
One other thing, will i lose power by putting my silencer on? And is it perfectly fine to keep the silencer on? I heard many different opinions on both topics, so i decided the only way to know, is have the heads on hondatech make the call.

"market" on the end there means what is available on the japanese market specifically, like what you can buy there on the streets or at dealers, so it is not like everthing made there is necessarily available there to buy, I guess. It is more of like what is JDM is anything you can get there, and people jock th estuff that is not available here easily... rigid, buddyclub, jun, zeal, monster, etc.

silencers do cut power potential of an exhaust no doubt. they restrict exhaust flow to minimize sound. there is no way around it unfortunately.
