Default 97 Accord Fuel Pump

I'm using an inline fuel pump and am not sure where to connect the positive wire from the fuel pump to the car. I have it connected near the fuse box to a wire so that when the key is in the number 2 position it turns the pump on the only problem is that pump stays running. Is that bad or should the pump be constantly running cause i was under the impression that it would run for a few seconds when turned on and the stop.

If you hook it to the black and yellow wire going from your main relay(under the dash) to your fuel pump, it will only run for 2 sec with the key on, and then while the engine is running.
