In an effort to turn street racers onto taking their racing to the track, the Texas Motorplex has formatted an event for street legal cars to complete in a heads up and safe environment. The Fastest Street Car in Texas Shakedown has been formatted to incorporate all the fun of racing into a legal and sanctioned event. No hassle from the cops, no worry about running, just a good day at the races with you and your friends. With four index classes there is something for everyone. The index classes are 11.50, 12.50, 13.50 and 14.50 seconds. With this being the Texas Fastest Street Car Shakedown the fastest heads up cars will be classed in the Shakedown class. This class is for the Baddest of the bad and fastest of the fast. The Shakedown class will be a one time shot at the track for all the money and marbles. Prize money and bragging rights are up for grabs in all four classes at the Texas Fastest Street Car Shakedown.

Man tony there was no way in hell that car was street legal. all you had to do is look at the damn thing 6.9's at 190mph . but i was very impressed with your runs you Teg ran flawless bro

 

i don't know, 5th i think. I think there were 2 8 sec. cars, a 9.0 car, and the 6.99 car that beat me.

damn. the car sounded and ran goood tho

 

Apparently when you have antique plates you can get away with just about anything. Kinda bullshit, but whatever. He didn't have to have an inspection because of the plates. Doesn't matter to me, i wouldn't have beat the 8 sec. cars anyways, but it sucks for them.

 

wish my digi cam would of took some better vids when you raced the rx7,but i got 2 good pics when you got it up on the trailor

 

does anyone know what the blue ef hatch and green crx had motor wise?
Also another thing watch out for the damn spiders at the track.i got bit by one this evening had to go to the emergency room .....i hate bugs lol
