how hard is it to change a clutch? i searched and the only thing i found was that the OEM exedy clutch was the way to go for a replacement. so should i tackle it myself or let a garage handle it?

I'd say do it yourself if your 100% sure your capable of it. It will save alot of $ and this may not be the only time you'll be replaciing a clutch. If possible, try to get a buddy who has done this before. You'll need someone to help lowering the tranny and lining it up anyways.

im in the process of replacing my clutch rite now, 91 civic hb, i decided to go with an exedy oem clutch kit, so far so good on my install clutch is on and im in the process of bolting the tranny on, motor is still in the car too u really dunt need to haul the motor out, but from this experience i would suggest to take it out would make it a bit easier installin the tranny back to the motor....

the hardest part of the whole process is putting the tranny back on. Thats is the only thing you really gotta worry about but if you have another person it becomes easier. Air tools help a ton too.
