Pioneer NAV install, need speed sensor wire location.
Has anyone here installed an aftermarket navigation unit ? If so, It would help me out a great deal if you could give me an ECU pinout diagram or just a wire color/location for the speed sensor line going to the ecu. I dont want to run my line all the way to the engine bay. Thanks in advance.

The computer is in the engine bay. The only other place you can get it in the car is at the guage cluster. Let me know what the model is (si on not) and ill give you the wire info.

i've installed a ton of the pioneer nav units and most are accurate enough where a speed sensor is not completely necessary. try it without. it'll work fine.

Its an LX model, coupe. So far it looks like the setup is working without it, but I havent driven the car yet. There is also some kind of engine readout display with a speedometer and tach, both of which are greyed out and have a "not available" written over them. Im guessing the speed sensor hookup would fix this.

in the 06civic manual it is connector A(44 pin conector) at the PCM(The first connector at the ECU) it is pin 29, it is a blue wire. Be careful though the tach wire is right next to it and it is also blue (kinda stupid but I didnt make the car) The pin next to it is blank if that helps.The numbering is like this. / / / 4 5 6 / 8 9

A speed sensor wire is located in the main harness of the stereo. It is a blue wire. We have it there because of the speed sensitive volume that our stereos have. Anyway hope that helps. I have mine hooked up there and it works great.

I am installing a pioneer avic system in a honda odyseey. Do you have the vss wire location for a 2000 odyseey? I found it listed as a blue and white wire behind the center console. I found one, but would appreciate a pin diagram etc. before I chance it.

I need help with knowing where the speed sensor wire location on the radio harness is there so many harnesses in this 2015 Civic Si w\o Nav let me know I'm having some real trouble and after I've installed everything my cruise control don't work no more when i push the cancel or down button the rpms stick goes up but nothing happens to the engine stays the same it doesn't start rev. I need some im trying to connect the HDCC-02 and the ASWC-1 to the radio harness.
