Default Full Race 94-01 teg roll cage vs. 92-95 civic roll cage- WHAT DIFFERENCES

I found a brand new full race roll cage for 94-01 3 door integra for 450$
These go for 600$ I have a 92-95 coupe and want to know how hard it will be to put this 94-01 cage into my coupe. What are the differences between the two cages?

Should I just spend the 600 on the one designed for the civic or modify the integra cage to fit my civic?

Thanks.

so you want to get the integra one cause its 25% cheaper???? come on man, figure you will spend how many hours modifying the $150 less one. or figure it in swear words, mine are worth about $5 a pop. and cutting, fitting, welding, realizing it wrong and re-cutting, re-fitting, and re-welding all over again will easily rack up 30 "mother *******"

my advise, spend the extra $150 now and thank your self later. those guys at full-race are pretty good at what they do and i trust them over me anyday

you can get a custom bent cage, installed, for that or less...........$600 for a prebent cage is just stupid pricing. S&W or Art Morrison **** on that price.

i don't have any experience with the full-race cage but i have installed a few s&w cages...they aren't bad for the money but they leave alot to be desired. Mild steel and fitment is VERY universal...doesn't hug the car very well at all. The notching needs work for ideal fitment, etc. They do work but i wouldn't put one in my car.

mild steel is much better for a street/strip car than chromoly though

chormoly isn't lighter. it is somewhat stronger, which allows a thinner walled tube to be used...which is what makes the cage/bar lighter overall....but, it's also more dangorus. The chromoly is very brittle...and will break before it bends which, in a street situation, can lead to being impaled. Now, personally....i'd rather run the more malable(sp) mild, which will bend on impact. and the weight isn't a huge issue...weght can be easily lost at other places to make up for the extra weight.
