Default Will I lose power if I install a Turbo muffler

Will I lose power if I put an 80mm inlet turbo muffler on my stock prelude pipes which is only 40mm I believe?

I don't think so... muflers doesn't do much (powerwise) unless their too small and gas flow restrictive but by installing such a big mufler you know that your car will become a moving farting machine

A muffler MIGHT add 1 or 2 flywheel hp at peak only because its a straight through muffler.

Yeah I want an RSR but then again I don't want my gas bill to go up because of it, so I'm thinking of just getting a ws2 muffler and welding it on to silence my exhaust.

woops! I was too quick to answer. Didn't really read the question clearly.
I thought you meant turbo exhaust system not just a muffler. My bad.
