Here's a basic layout of the upcoming meet.

Date: June 8th
Time: 6:00 pm
Place: Blacklick Park in Reynoldsburg, Ohio
Fee: $5 (to help pay for the food, drinks, etc.)

We'll cookout, get to know each other, take pix, maybe a group pic, etc. Then when like 10pm comes around we can go cruisin' around maybe catch a race or wutever. This is basically a foundation. If you have any ideas, post em here and we'll discuss it.

Coming from the South:

Take 71 North to 70 East, 70 East and get off the Brice Rd-Reynoldsburg Exit (exit 110B). You will go through 3 traffic lights, and the 4th one is Livingston Ave. Turn Right on Livingston, and then you will go through 3 traffic lights. After the third light is passed (in front of Reynoldsburg HighSchool), Blacklick Park is about a quarter mile down the road. There will be a big sign that says Blacklick Metropolitan Park. Turn right into the park.

Coming from the North:

Take 71 South to 70 East. Take 70 East and get off the Brice Rd-Reynoldsburg Exit (exit 110B). Turn right and you will pass through 2 traffic lights and the 3rd one is Livingston Ave. Turn Right on Livingston, and then you will go through 3 traffic lights. After the third light is passed (in front of Reynoldsburg HighSchool), Blacklick Park is about a quarter mile down the road. There will be a big sign that says Blacklick Metropolitan Park. Turn right into the park.

From the West:

Take 70 East and get off the Brice Rd-Reynoldsburg Exit (exit 110B). You will go through 3 traffic lights, and the 4th one is Livingston Ave. Turn Right on Livingston, and then you will go through 3 traffic lights. oh yea, Mistabone suggested for the ppl comin from the south to take 71 North to 270 East/North (Wheeling). Then take that to 70 East and follow from the directions above. This will steer you away from downtown, BUT there are a TON of potholes on that part of 270. I know cuz the auction is down there and I have to drive there every weds and it's killer on my car.

Saturday afternoon traffic will be rather light, so 71N to 70E won't be too bad. I don't like the southern part of 270 because the cops patrol it like crazy, plus it is bumpy...like you mentioned.

 

I'll definately be there since I'm one of the people trying to plan this and I'll be bringing out my digital camera to take and post the pics. I'll also front some of the cash to buy the supplies. If anyone wants to get together sometime and plan everything we should do that, just let me know when you're avalible.

 

I will try to make it. I dont know if the car will be running by then. I also dont know if i can afford to take the night off since i plan on going to H.I.N. on June 29th.

 

That's cool man, hey, where's H.I.N. at on the 29th?? If it's closer than the one in Chicago, then i'm there. Anyways, yea, i'm up for gettin together to plan this out.

Sounds good, I am here in Gahanna. If it is nice weather though I just assume to bring my bike since I don't own a car with working air conditioning. 5 cars, 3 with A/C and none of them work.

 

If any of you are interested there is a great group of Ohioyans here at this forum that we have recently formed. Lots of great people. We get together for concerts, Speeds(Indoor Cart Racing), Auto-X, Niagra Falls meet 8 etc. It has been alot of fun so far. Everyone is planning on making the June 8th meet and we have though about possibly hititng speeds before the cookout. Just a thought. We need to collaberate our efforts together beforehand.

 

HIN is the one in Chicago. My car wont be ready. I still dont have a motor so i dont even think it will be out this year. Oh well that just means it will be a beast next year.

Oh yes let's have the meet. Lots of Ohio CRX/Efers, we need to meet a speeds either before or afterward though. Gokarts there are a blast. Probably before since those that want to drink will want to do so at the BBQ(Park permitting). Here is the Ohio CRX forum. Non CRXers as well as non-Hondas are welcome too. BTW anyone going to N8? Any Autoxers around or that want to try it out on June 9th?
Anyhow if you are in the area I will see you on Friday nights at BJ's or Hooters in Reynlodsburg on Main on occasion.

hey guys! I'm going to try my hardest to make it up for the meet! but I know for sure my Ef won't be with me since i just took the block to the machine shop last week! Howdy, folks! I'm not sure if I've met any of you before (other than Caleb). I'll be at Speeds by 1pm on Saturday. My buddy, Ki (red, 99 Si) will be there, too. I'll have all of my autox stuff loaded in the back of my 'ReX to run with OVR on Sunday. Sat night, we're crashing at my sister's place near Tuttle X'ing. Can't wait to meet some of you guys (and gals, too!). Should be fun!
