Default Racing Seats

So, I need to find a good seat. I'm looking at Sparco, Recaro, and Status. Does anyone recommend any other FIA approved brands, like JIC perhaps?

Right now, I have it down to a few seats.

RECARO Pole Position
RECARO Profi SPG

Sparco REV F
Sparco EVO

I need a tight and snuggly fit, and my waist size is 28-30. The REV F is the only small model, so it will likely fit well. The Sparco EVO is Medium, meaning it is best for those with a 32-24 waist size. Do you think I should opt for a Medium in case I were to become a bit chubbier in the future. Or is buying one that fits you the best option. I don't know the sizes to the rest, but they fit my budget least to say. They have to be under $1000, and I need seat rails and harnesses. The Racing harnesses are illegal for street use, is this true?

sparco is the cheapest outa them 3. and for pole positions or any type of Status seat, the whole package is going to be more than 1000 bucks IMHO.

try OMP. They are Italian made and nice. I have the Carbon/Kelvar and it is really light and good quality.

So Sparco is the best for seats in the world? I thought that the best brand was Bride because of its Japan roots, and that Sparco might not be the best cause its cheaper than the rest. Is the Sparco Sprint seat good?

don't buy a speed or sprint, get a seat with a frp shell, those steel frame seats ******* blow.

i had a sparco rev/evo, those were nice.

Yeah, but where else will I get a Sparco Speed with red insert which goes for ~$400 with shipping, taxes, versus buying it for $210 flat?
Sure I would love to own a Sparco REV/EVO seat, but where am I going to cough up $600 for just one seat?

it's your money and you're entitled to do what you want with it, but i really don't see the point of buying something that you don't really want just because it's cheap.

but if you really want to get it, then go ahead.

I'll think about getting a Sparco Evo/Rev seat later in the future. For now, Speed will have to suffice. I would like Milano's, but those are about a grand. What do I need for the seats? Just a "track set" or "universal"--for height adjustment(dont really care about that). Do I need side mounts? what is that?

sprint/speed are bottom mounts, you just need a bracket and slider.

what type of bracket, can you supply a link? what type of slider, just universal? can I later add the side mounts to it?
