Squealing From Wheel well
When i back my car out of the driveway, there is a squealing noise from the wheel well, only in reverse though not in first 2nd 3rd ect... it has new pads & rotors, if it was the drivetrain it would squeal both forward and reverse..... so if anyone has any suggestions let me know..... Thanks
Sounds like a problem I had when I did my brake job. Try using some fine sand paper on the rotors. The noise is probably coming from the build up of your brake pad residue.
HTH!

take the pads off and clean the rotor and pads, then go from there, mine had some built up dirty/mud that dry'd while my car sat for a weekish. clean em both and go from there? keep us updated
I fixed the problem.....
It turned out to be a pebble was stuck between the rotor & the sheild so it was only rubbing in reverse because going forward put a flat spot on the rock and when it tried to go backward it was the rotor rubbing on the pebble. thanks for the ideas and feedback..........
