Fuel Filter Help....
1989 Honda Accord LXi (fuel injection)
Well, just replaced my fuel filter as the car hadnt had it changed as long as I know of. Figured may as well do it too see if it stops any of the low idle/dying problems.
Replaced it, have it all buttoned up. Now the car wont start. It just turns over. I put it back on just like the old one came off, etc.
Do you need to bleed the gas line or something?

When you first turn the ignition to "run", the fuel pump will run for about 2 seconds. You could try purging the air by doing that several times if air in the lines is the problem.
Well, I just tried that and didnt seem to help. All I did was take the old fuel filter off and put the new one on. Does the system need to pressurized or something?
I undid the little screw on top of the 'in' port and fuel is pumping out. So fuel is getting to at least that point.
Any more suggestions?
