well, the hedmann chikara header on summit is my price range for my daily. for a d16a6, would you do it? this would only be for about a year, as i will eventually be turboing an a6 to put in.

I've had a DC Sports, chikara, $30 ebay special, and arospeed. the only ones that didn't need the welds cleaned up on the inside were the DC and the ebay special. I have ran the ebay special for a long time on lots of cars. Maybe me and my friends are just lucky. But I think all the people on here that say its junk have never had one. Now don't get me wrong it's far from a SMSP, Rage......

thanks, i just hate the look of the stocker on there with the heat shield. yuck. i might go for it, we will see, as long as it doesnt cost me power, and it doesnt give anything at all power wise, even if its not noticeable?

i might get flamed for this to, but i like the megan header look more than the dc. i like that bare metal feel to it, plus its like $60 compared to a few hundred

The Megan 4-2-1 stainless header for d16a6 is an excellent quality header for a modest price.

As for the chikara, though its hard to NOT improve on the stock D16A6 exhaust manifold, if it doesnt last, then you'll end up spending more $ on a new header.

Thats funny I have seen dyno numbers from a test on a b18a with stock then Ebay then dcsports. The dc made the most power but the ebay still made 3whp peak and more than that through the midrange.
