What is this connector?

What is this thing, I'm tucking the harness and shortening wires and stuff. This thing has never been connected to anything as far as I remember. It's located near the oil filter. The harness is from a 1990 Si and until now was uncut.

that is the connector for the Fast Idle Control Valve on the 89-91 SI D16A6

interesting, and good to know. I have the same connector just hanging around in my engine bay, after the b18a1 swap. I thought I missed something!

so the b18 doesnt have this, obviously? replaced by what, the iacv? just curious.
