98-01 front lip install
does anyone know how it mounts to the bumper? im wondering if you have to bolt it under the car... or if the midsection sits on the midsection of the bumper and bolts on the side of the bumper. all the rubber fender covers are gone and my front bumper bottom half cannot bolt to the frame mount. anyone have pics of where its mounted and blah blah blah?
there are six bolts that go under the car and attach the lip to the front bumper...you also can drill other bolt points in the bumper but it isnt completely necessary to do so. And then there is two sets of screws on either side near the fenderwell
daym.. the only problem is.. .the bottom part of the bumper doesnt bolt right on. my front mount also makes it too tight. i think its because the front part of the frame has different locations for the bolts. i have a 98 bumper on my 94. so it pretty much hangs... so i had to zip tie it to keep from hangin. so if the lip bolts on the bottom... theres nothing the bumper is bolted to in the furst place except for the fenders. dammit...
i dont have any pics of the bottom part of the bumper.. but i will show you how it looks like when youre lookin at it from a certain angle from afar. i got to hit up imagestation first.
notice the ugly lookin part of the bumper under the middle of the bumper? i cant find a place to bolt it to. thats one reason why i want the lip. if the lip can bolt to the bumper easy... then it can hide that ****.
