Default 2007 CTR turbo?

I read in a magazine last night that the 07 CTR could possibly be coming out with a turbo...has anyone heard any real news?

Kidding aside, what do you mean? Factory turbo or an aftermarket kit? If the CTR came from the factory boosted...that would be a first for any Type R coming from Honda.

I wouldn't see any reason why they would need to when they can push out 220 hp from the k20.

It would be factory turbo...I would assume that it should be similar to the acura RDX. But yea...i read this in sports compact car. The article said its a possiblity that it might be turbo'd.

ctr=civic type r

and i seriously doubt they will release a factory turboed civic here because people would dog the **** out of it and take it back for warranty claims every other weekend. not only that, i doubt we will get the civic type r. we might get the civic type s, but not too sure about the type r

im sure they actually do think about kids doggin it out. thats their key demographic. how many 45 year old women need a 2 door turbocharged ctr? how many young males want on??? they know that we beat on it and they know how to price the replacement parts and the warranties. we are the civics bread and butter because we expletive em up and come back for more.

I never said it was going to come to the states...i only stated that the CTR can possibly come turbo charged...they dont promote the CTR to kids...but in Europe...hatchbacks are really competitive. So...it seems logical that it could and possibly come out turbo'd...what do you guys thing?
