Something Feels strange

I have a 96 si. My problem is this. I am stopped and making a turn (more pronounced going left then right) As i accelerate through the turn there is a grinding vibration that i feel along with a thunk sound like something is being pulled into place and doesn't want to go.

sorry thats the best i can describe it.
