Tire rubbing
I finally put on my sportlines with tokico blues yesterday. Now I am getting crazy rubbing from the pass rear tire, and only that tire. Do you guys think a crappy trailing arm bushing can cause this.
tires are 205 50 15's on rota grids, not sure of the offset

Trailing arm could cause a trailing arm to sag...but I highly doubt it.
Go get it alligned. See what they say. Could just be a camber issue. If it still rubs, you could raise it (if it's coilovers) or even go with a smaller tires.
Sorry, I'm not the best with suspension help, I'm jsut shooting out ideas.

You should measure from the top of the wheel opening to the ground on the side that doesn't rub and then do the same on the side that does rub. If the dimension on the side that rubs is less, then that's your problem. It could be that the spring on the one side is different in length or rate allowing one side to be lower than the other. You would probably want to shim up the low side to even it out. You can also roll the fender lip upward to gain more tire to fender clearance.

From the center of the arch down goes as follows 23 3/4 drivers side 23 1/2 passenger side. I would say it's pretty even given pavement variations and such.
here are pics, sorry I couldn't really get the same angle on both sides.
side that rubs

normal side

tried to give you an idea of camber, looks pretty even but camber can't really be measured with the naked eye

EDIT: ok i guess the camber does look a bit off

Yeah, looks to be a camber issue. On my car, however, my rear 1/4's were replaced due to rust sometime in the car's life and one side doesn't flare out as much as the other. Just throwing the possibility out there

It went well, I rolled it using my floor jack handle. The paint did crack but it's ok because I taped off the 1/4 panel and sprayed it with undercoating afterwards. I only had to bend the lip a little bit to get most of the rubbing to stop.
It still rubs when I hit hard bumps and stuff but it isn't nearly as bad as it was before. I went to an autocross on sunday and there was only one point in the course when the tire would rub. I think I'm going to roll it a little bit more to completely get rid of the problem.

The problem is that whoever did the body work on that quarter panel sucks ***. The wheel arch isn't even round - the radius shortens toward the rear of the car.

Tape the fender next time before hand, it will help to prevent cracking.

Weird. I've been to autox's where I've been the only one in my class. Although, I wouldn't complain if they let me run in SM2 instead of DM.
