want to add button to steering wheel. how to wire from the steering to the dash??
I want to wire an extra button to my steering wheel but of course I would have to route the wire from the steering wheel to the dash. What would be the best way to go about it without having the wires twisted from turning the steering wheel? thnx
it's not for a honda.. i'm trying to wire an button for an aux switch on the steering wheel..
Unless you can hack into the cable reel assembly, there's no way to get a wire "through" the steering column/wheel... Your only option is to either use a coiled cord, or leave enough slack so it doesn't get tight and break when you turn the wheel lock to lock...
And might I ask why you need an aux button on the steering wheel? Is the area directly behind the steering wheel just too damn far to reach?

why not just mount it on the stering column..
