the radio and cd player worked fine and all that stuff but after i tryed installing an amp and subs something happened that it died and the music turned off, checked the fuses everyone of them are good, even installed back the stock tape player still wont turn on like a burn fuse but i doble checked and all of them are good have no idea what went wrong and why wont it work

that happened when i was putting the remote blue wire on the amp with by 12v and ground and when i just touched the remote screw it just shutted down thats all and i saw a little spark thats it and my remote wire is hooked up to red wire were my head unit is, it worked good before when it was there i had another amp and i was switching to another one and thats what happened

 

did you check the fuse with a meter or did you look at them. Sometimes you can't tell buy looking at them. Also make sure the fuse under the hood is good.

 

i checked the fuse with my eye took it out and looked at it looked good to me and it the one that says radio/clock thats the only fuse under the hood right or theres some fuses that connects to radio by ur feet?

 

changed the fuse still wont work

 

first get yourself a meter and test the accesory wire and the battery on the radio harness. Next make sure the fuses in the driver kick pannel are good. I was going to say check the fuse on the aftermarket radio but you tried the stock and it still doesn't work so it a blown fuse somewere in the car. With what you were doing you could not have damaged the factory wire to the put were it became a open short.

 

checked the head unit on battery ground on - and on + i putted red and yellow it worked but still its like im not getting any contact in the car

 

ok found the problem, the fuse by ur left leg burned it was under name ACC im like what is that, after taking out all the fuses lol this was my last one it was at the top of the all fuses tx for the help

 

np, just 6 post and a im to get this straight. aww dam a all new high, lol

 

im happy that i got it to work again but ill have to stick to my old amp cuz the amp that my friends gave me isnt working when i conntected everything from my old amp to another one the amp had a red light the whole time and insted green light its like it doesnt have ground but ill check on it tommorow its 3 am here and i have to be at work at 12 and stuff ill get to it later not a big deal it stands in garage anyway
