98+ teg front lip install
sup guys... any of you got the front lip for 98+ integs? im not sure if they mount the same way as the ITR front lip.. so im guessing it would be better to ask someone with a OEM front lip.
my question is... how do they mount on the front bumper? the bottom half my 2000+ front bumper doesnt bolt on a metal support or anything. i had to zip tie it to keep it from rubbin on the ground. i guess i need the support that comes on a 98-up... since my car is originally a 94.

One thing I can tell you is that the OEM lip is the same as the ITR lip, which means they mount the same. As far as the support goes I don't know, not sure what's involved with the 98+ front on a 94-97. As far as mounting on the front bumper, if I remember correctly there are 2 screws on each end at the wheel well (that makes 4), and I think 6 clips that slide into the underneath of the bumper and the lip bolts to those. And then 2 more that need to be drilled for screws. You don't really need to drill those 2 extra holes though. Hope that helps some.

i know its easy. its just that its gonna be harder to put it on when the bottom of my bumper is hangin with zipties because they cannot be bolted to any part of the frame or bumper support. i guess its different on a 94 chassis... or im missin a reinforcement. might have taken it off when i put on my front mount.
I can't believe people take the front bumper off to do this! It just boggles my mind. I know that's what it says in the instructions, but come on.
It's a total of like 10 or 12 bolts/screws. Just jack the front end up and bolt/screw it on. I am amazed people take the front bumper off to do this. It took like 15 minutes to do. You slip the clips in the slots under the bumper, bolt the lip to those, unscrew the two screws on each side by the wheel well and screw it in there and you're done. That's it. No need to pull the front bumper off. Sorry, just venting about how easy this actually is. Changing your oil isn't this simple!
