Yo I'm pretty new and I'm just here to learn about cars...
That red search button in the top right is God.
Pretty much, you could read archived material for several months and learn so much, without even posting a single thread. If you ever have a technical question, I would just spend 10 minutes searching for the related information first. Pretty much all of your questions have already been answered in the old Honda-tech threads.
Welcome to Honda-Tech.

Not the greatest way to start your path here. How about introducing your car? Take some pics, tell us your mods and what you would like to do to it.
The FAQ is key! Almost ever 'common' question has a write up, or very detailed explanation in the links in it! I've used it alot, and has helped me solved alot of issues in my car (even a few upgrades
).

Howstuffworks.com has some GREAT general writeups on how different systems within a vehicle function. Great way to kill some time and learn a lot in the process. Once you start having more specific questions about your Honda, that's where H-T comes to the rescue!

hello welcome to honda-tech its always a pleasure to see a noob with that kind of attitude we are all learning also and you picked a great platform to start. top five things to learn first before posting in the future cuz it can end up being a flame fest in here if you dont watch it.
1) bold red underlined search link up top use it. always do a quik search before posting.
2)great place to start as stated already is the faq's section. good write up,topics that have already been answered. everything
3)if your car is rice or close to rice and your sensitive dont post any pictures asking for comments on what people think. also most people think it should be posted in the appearence thread unless its a build-up page.
4)think about what your asking first before you post ive seen so many people asking about the same **** everyday or ask stupid questions.
5)read the rules

You have come to the right place my man! If you have a eg civic (92-95) click on that sub-forum and learn away. If you have ef (88-91) click on that sub_forum.... theres tons of info...
hummmm, lets see. if ya looking into getting a honda! well buddy, you picked a very good, lets just say brand of civic.....lol. this would be the ef3, ef7, ef8, and ef9 fourm...... and its all just old skool ****....hell yeah....its just the respect thats given to us when we attend jdm shows here..... the ricer guys hate this kinda civic/crx but a true jdm lover respects us because of alot of things, but the main reason why is because of how old we are and how hard it is to get the true JDM parts......FYI. also, dont beleave any of them EG guys over there say they are soon to be old skool....never happen.
, because there the AKA bubbles...and they swear to that title... last time i looked was that the old skools were very square....and a bubble is not....
, agian FYI.
well anyway...welcome aboard....

we all know EG's look like EGg's, but thats not why they'll never be oldschool.
They're from the 90's. Their super, ultra, mass produced.
A clean rust free EG aint ****. Now a clean, rust free EF, well, thats a whole other story....
EDIT: BTW, elcome to HT, dont forget to search, & check the FAQ.
