Default Trunk lid pickup for alarm

I installed a Compustar Alarm system on my car a few weeks ago and received a sheet telling me where to tap into all the circutrity needed except for the trunk lid signal. Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for the wire. I know there must be a signal wire running to the dash because of the indicator display that shows when it is open. Thanks for any help!

What year is the make and model. If you can't find it you can go the lazy route and tag it off of the trunk light.
