Need help finding the VSS wire(s) on a 91 Integra.
Hey there guys, I need some help pointing out where the VSS wire is located under the hood. The reason is because I bought a Pioneer AVIC-D2, and it has gauges on there to get stats from your car's VSS wire.
I was curious to know which would be the easiest to tap into, under the hood, or under the dash.
TIA
also what colors, and if anyone has pictures or a diagram, that'd help me alot! I wish I could find out on my own but I dont have a Helms manual or any other manual for that matter to look up the wiring diagram for the G2's

Then why have other people (searched) asked the VSS wire question in their car specific sections? (civic, accord, etc)
I mean it can be moved if it bothers you that much.. and i'll just ask the same question in audio/video

well if im not mistaken the vss wire on a 91 integra is a cabel that spins the needle on the mph and on a newer honda it has an electric vss but your integra has a mechanical vss.

Really??? Someone said in the Audio Video that it's a yellow wire with a red line and it's behind the cluster.
Because it says in the manual of the stereo, that there needs to be a VSS wire, or some kinda "Pulse wire" adapter thing that might need to be used

No it's not
f{uck don't provide information you don't know **** about.
The VSS unit regardless if it's cable or electronically operated is IN the transmission.
It has 1 or 2 10mm bolts holding the peice onto the tranny casing. If you take off your intake piping, look down on the tranny and you will see a thick black cable going to the transmission. That is the VSS unit down there.
The part in the cluster is the counter

I was going based on reading from the service manual, I apologize for the misinformation. But was it necessary to correct me in such an ******* manner? I guess it proves who has the bigger ***** here uh? Real smooth cool guy.
Glad you got it straightened out man, how does it work?

Well let me say this first off. If you're going to talk **** first of all, don't act all friendly afterwards ok? It kinda makes you look like a asshat. And I'm sorry for acting the way I did towards you in my last post to you. I have two threads in two locations about this and it seems that no matter what.. you always get a jackass that always finds a way to make things difficult and I had just got done with that guy when I replied to you so that's my bad and I hope you can accept this and we keep no hard feelings towards eachother? what do you say?
As to how it works.. so far so good. Ill really put it to the test here in a few days when I haft to go to this place downtown to pick up a new garage door opener. Its in a part of town I'm not familiar with.
