Default b16 allmotor vs b16 turbo

please dont go up in flames but i need to know which is more affordable and more reliable this is gonna be my daily driver from work to home which is like a mile away an street racing on weekends for fun please help honda-tech not really sure also if you have any helpful ways to build up for cheap

To answer your unresearched question.
NA= $$$$free you should already have that, hondas are damn reliable.
NA+turbo= more money, and the turbo isnt going to make it more reliable


And if you dont know about turbos, then holy **** stick with NA

turbos are gona make ur engine's life decrease, thats a no brainer. the only positive side i see of turboing a car is the increase in over all power, IMO i would not go over 10psi on a bone stock motor.thats if u want ur engine to last somewhat long.

ok that makes sense so then how huch horses can i get in a b16 with 10 psi ...? and how long will it last daily drivin and beatin on weekends...?

depnds on how or who tuned ur motor. a crappy tune can give u like 190hp. a good tune ive seen dyno sheets on here where they go up to like 260hp. idk. depends on ur set up. these numbers are rough. but dont think im talking about whp. just crank.

oh i see so whats a good tune meaning what parts...? thats what i want does anyone have a stock b16 setup...? if so any info will will be very much apreciated

A good tune means air/fuel ratios adjusted well on a properly set up motor. Xenocron is making 300whp on his stock longblock boosted b18, but he's a pro tuner. When you get your set up done take it to someone like him, he's in north jersey, so nice and close to you.

yea its all about tune and a/f ratio do some reserach turbo size and compression are also big factors. pick 2
