Im trying to figure out if this is a hookup for an oil cooler for my LSD transmission on an H22A or what?

 

I was told it was for the power stering, once you get your car moving I guess that take soem of the power stering away. That what I was told

 

That is the VSS (hydraulically controlled by the power steering pump) ... dude, you need to get a manual.

 

thats the VSS(vehicle Speed Sensor) its for your speedometer, and the lines are for power steering, at higher speeds it tightens up the steering and at sdlowe rspeeds it losens it up.

 

Ahh ok. So can I simply leave it be or is it something I need to hook up?

Are there any online prelude manuals available???

what gen accord do you ahve? 90-93 accords and 92-96 ludes had speed sensitive power steering. when you install the trans you will see the PS lines on teh crossmember to hook the lines up.
if you have a 94-97 accord its a worthless part in your car so you can just leave it alone, or loop the lines or whatever.

 

Ive got a 5th gen so it looks like Ill just plug it up.

As for the manuals on ebay are they the Honda factory ones or the Chilton books scanned in?

I want the official Honda one, Ive got it for my 240 and its been a great resource.
