Need help, Blown motor...
So i blew my motor with a dry shot of nitrous because there was no pill in the line when it was installed. I have a code of cylinder one and two misfire now, has anyone had any experience with blowing there motor and have any suggestions... I just had to pay 800.00 dollars for school and have no money for a shop to repair it... I dont have the tools at my house to pull an engine, i dont know what to do...
Did you have it installed? Or did you install it? You may be able to have the installer pay for a new motor. Swapping an engine is easy. You can DIY but a complete swap is going to be $$$ if you are going to buy a complete GSR.

Do a compression test followed by a leak down test. You can probably get a comrpession tester at autozone or a similliar place.</TD></TR></TABLE>Doesnt that require you to start the engine?

How many shots did you shoot. 75 shot is a bit risky already cause i know from experience on my Ls.

Wow. Running nitrous with a schetchy install, no $$ to back it up, and no way to recover if things get screwed up?
Not smart bro.
Get a bus ticket and save up for a swap, if it's for sure blown. Sorry about your situation, but be smart about what you may be getting yourself into. Don't experiment on a car you depend on.

im gunna put my money on a couple bent valves. cylinder mis fire is either gunna be a spark plug failure, clogged fuel lines, ignition timing off certain degrees or a valve is bent out of whack. considering you put nitrous through the engine, and it sounds like its hesitating an has a rumble, i DEF have money on a chipped or bent valve. pull the head and loook. im interested
