Anyone with a Koyo radiator for a del sol Vtec i have a question.
hey i just bought a Koyo radiator for my del sol (the Vtec Model Koyo) and i need to know what radiator cap to use because i tryed my greddy cap from from my stock radiator and its too small. so anyone who has this radiator i need to know what cap your using and what presure to get also.
Thanks.
Thanks.
My koyo came with a cap. It was a 0.9 instead of the original rad's 1.1
They sell them at autozone. just get one that looks exactly like your oem cap, except on the side where it says 1.1, get the one that reads 0.9.

Stop being gay.....just go to vatozone and buy a radiator cap for it.
My Fluidyne cap crapped out on me eventually and I had to get another one. I went to vatozone, $3.00 later I had a radiator cap.
There is nothing special about them, some just have different pressure relief springs.

Thanks for the completly helpless post
. the reason im asking for a brand is because i need to get it online because the closest autozone is 35 minutes away and i would rather not make the drive. at this point i guess nobody wants to help so please delete this thread.

Then order it - I have to agree with him completely, stop being gay, you definately came to th WRONG place if you NEED a aftermarket radiator cap (the stock one just won't cut it, eh?...******* ricer...). Go to a online parts store like hondaautoparts.com or something of the sort and order it from there - sent right to your door step.
A Greddy or Fluidyne radiator cap does not make your car go faster, and people who look at your engine (the once a year that they do) don't give a expletive that you have it.

Look sir, if you read my post i never said not once that i wanted an aftermarket radiator cap, the whole reason i made this post is because my greddy cap that was made for a STOCK radiator didnt fit my koyo, so i figured if a cap made for the stock radiator didnt fit then the actual stock one wouldnt fit. thats why i asked because i figured there was a special size made for it Ok, why do you get so angry and curse at me for? why would you say i think a radiator cap will make my car faster? thats just rediculous.
I got a mugen cap from http://www.jhpusa.com and its perfect....just call them and tell them what you have and they will have one at your door in 2-3 days....
i have a koyo radiator and the only radiator cap that works with it is the koyo one. Your going to have to order a koyo cap. i have the red one. No other radiator cap works with it. Good luck.
Thanks Guys!
i think ill get ahold of the people i bought my radiator from and see if thay have a koyo cap i can buy.
Thanks again.
