Default First thing to buy after swap

What should i buy for my b18c1 to add the most power to it. Im not talkin about turboing or nitrous just yet. Just what should i do first. I wanna start building it up now that the swap is done, but i dont know what to start with. As of now everything is stock except an aem cold air intake. I have about 500 bucks to dump into it. Any suggestions?

Header, Full exhaust, Test pipe, and an ebay intake. It will be a little more than $500.

dont buy a fart can. get a set of cams and then a good header. have a muffler shop install a 2 1/2" exhaust to a stock looking muffler. have it tuned and make some decent n/a power, while staying low key.

if i were you i would plan on what i would want to do 1st. bc if u are planning to drop a turbo in your car in the future all of those things ^^^ there will be gone to waste. in my opinion i would get some cams bc ur gonna want it for turbo any way for torque. 500 bux i would save a little and get some ctr cams

I would just stick with the GSR cams, if not those just stay OEM and get ITR cams. Plenty of people are making lots of HP with boosted GSR motors with stock GSR cams.

That's what I'm doing with my hatch. Loud exhaust is what gets people (cops) to look at you, plus it's annoying...

put your 500 bucks back in the bank, and get to saving. stack some money aside for some headwork.

I get coilovers and bushings after a motor swap. No reason for the extra power if it can't be controlled. Wheel hop and torque steering sucks...

If you are going to turbo, please don't listen to what everyone is saying. Do NOT buy a header. And don't buy exhaust yet, because you will want 3'' piping. I would buy some itr cams or better yet put it towards the turbo. Another $1000 and you can have yourself a nice set-up tuned and everything.

There is plenty of **** done to my car already (full exhaust, full coilovers, camber kit, control arms, etc...) i just wanted to know what i should start doing to the motor, to see the most gains for under 500 bucks. I guess ill start with headers, test pipe, and cams.

Edit: and im not even thinking of turboing yet, i wanna have some fun being all motor for awhile.
