Default Pic Request: PY with vented hood

I can't find any on the net or on here. I'm hoping someone has a pic of a functional vented hood. Seibon, VIS, or anything.

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I also looked into a cowl design and from a cosmetic standpoint, it's ugly. I know function over fashion, but I'm trying to keep it looking as clean as possible for a daily.
Also from a recent search I'm gathering that the carbon fiber vented hoods will allow rain to get on the turbo manifold? that can't be good. I see a crack coming out of that...

Did you cut through the skeleton/frame of the hood at all? If so does it seem weaker or flex more?

It does look nice though.

yeah its cut all the way through. flexes a little bit but nothing drastic. I dont think I would lay on it I glued a few layers of door screen under there as well to keep the garbage out. yes it looks nice close up as well. the best part is when I blew up my last motor, the smoke rising from the cut out was cool lol

This is what a lot of my friend's with Hondas do... Stack some washers under the bolts that connect the hood to the brackets. Spaces the back of the hood up an inch or so, you DEFINATELY notice the engine temperature drop. I haven't done this on my ITR, because... Well... Honestly, it doesn't need it.

^ I don't have temperature probems, either. I'd have to find a less ghetto way of solving them if I did, though. The spacers thing has always looked friggin stupid IMO.

It looks like the car was hit in the front, and the hood bent up perfectly on both sides... Another reason why I haven't done it yet.

So yeah, I agree with you, haha.

I figure if, and when I have to face that problem, there are plenty of bolt on ways to solve it, without modifying my hood.
