Default O2 Sensor Question

I have read the threads on here bout O2 Sensors and I just wanna make sure. When i change my sensor do i have to reset my ecu? And how or what?

is the cel on?

you can reset the ecu by disconnection the negative side of the battery cable for 5 seconds

No....the cell is not on but my car kinda stalls for a sec or two when going, so someone said that that is the problem my O2 was bad

Sure glad they didn't tell you the piston rings were bad. You might want to check around for other problems, or get a reading from the sensor to be sure it's bad. I hate to see people throwing parts at cars to try to diagnose them.
