LS fuel pump in my CRX???
Quick question for anyone who may know... will a fuel pump out of a 96 Integra LS work properly in my 88 CRX Si??? Please let me know if anyone can shine some light on it for me. Thanks!
Is there anyway to make this work?? I have a walbro 255 right now on a basically stock Si motor and I am quite sure it is putting waaay to much fuel... my boost plans have fallen through.... so I have a spare LS pump just laying around... is there a safe way to make it work?
I'm pretty sure the way hondas fuel system is setup any extra fuel is returned to the tank..soo the walbro isn't going to cause you to run to rich...
I believe the LS pump is going to be to tall to fit in the hang for the pump or just to tall for the tank

I thought the same thing but when I did the search and looked at the posts... some people were saying that the walbro was too much for the stock regulator to handle. I also heard the same thing from a mechanic that i know. Thats why I was curious... if the LS pump won't work because of the size... I understand now. Thaks!
Well if the regulator can't keep up then it may just be easier to get an ajustable regulator and try and control the fuel pressure, might just be a bandaid but could save some hassle, I replaced my fuel pump a little while ago and I don't really want to do it again
yeah you should get a fpr with the walbro 255 and 255 HP fuel pumps..
you can make the 96 integra fuel pump work,i used to have a 98 gsr in mine. just have to rig it up a bit..you dont have the stock crx fuel pump anymore?

No I dont have the stock one anymore... I put the walbro in because A. I was gonna go turbo and B. My stock one completely **** itself... so I have the LS just laying around... and I wasn't sure what the flow rate was and if it would be considerably lower then the walbro, or low enough that it would function better then the walbro

IT flow 79lph just like the stock crx pump, the only ones that flow more are from dohc vtec cars like the 9900 si,or gsr,or prelude h22a vtec, etc ..if it were you i wouldnt bother ,just get an adjustable fpr and set it so its back at stock...cause droppin the tank sure is a pain

I know its a pain... I did the walbro install and it was a nightmare, but it would be a lot cheaper for me to put in the LS pump then to buy and install an AFPR... and money is tight right now...
