bearings sohuld be about $60, even from honda. you can get em a bit cheaper from bearing wholesalers once you know the bearing number.
i dunno what the "machine" price is. it could cost you $30 to just get the bearing pressed out and in.

at least around here all the shops i have been to, charge a minimum of an hour, even if something takes 10 minutes.
also most shops will charge you a certain % if you don't buy the part from them. Some times it's cheaper some times it's not.
FYI if one is bad id replace both of them

ROFL
lol do this. Jack your car up in the air on the side of the bad wheel bearing. With the other side on the ground and secure, move the wheel left and right with your hands. If the wheel moves and the knucke does not move, you have a bad bearing. While your wheel probably won't fall off, the grease will leak out of the bearing and you risk welding it to the knuckle/hub from the heat. Then your really fuct.

I guess laughing at this guy came back to haunt me. I get home to put the wheels back onto my track civic, and my driver wheel bearing has taken a ****.
Both being replaced. On top of that, my ES upper bushings are also failing.
