Default 3" TURBO EXHAUST

What are you guys using as a muffler with your 3" exhausts?

Please specify whether its a custom exhaust and what muffler brand , and how much you paid.

Currently I have a T1R header and Spoon N1 axle-back on my n/a - but when I do turbo and due to my power goals, need 3", I dont want the car to sound ricey AT ALL.

Please post your opinions on different setups but like I said -Im just looking to go for a muffler - the piping will be generic.

Thanks in advance

I just have a 18" and 24" louvered-style resonators, not cat or baffled muffler. A bit louder than an apexi ws2 exhaust on an NA car, summit racing sells them for $22 & $26 I believe. Despite being a sohc, it has no rasp, just a very-low muffled roar - honestly more like an Evo than anything. Not like the typical honda 'baaaaw', sounds very nice.

If you want to spend some money one something that will last a while, get a magnaflo preforated resonator & straight-though packed muffler. Those are **** on a turbo car.

I'm running a 3" exhaust from KTeller.com and I bought a cheap 3" straight through muffler off of ebay and I am using that without a cat or resinator or anything. I, and a lot of people that hear it love the way my car sounds. Awsomeness and cheap

MAGNAFLOW 5X8 OVAL using resonator also....sounds great, quiet when just driving around town and not too loud when I mash on it.

kteller 3" with magnaflow. The magnaflow is going to make a big difference over a fart can.
