Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought that obd2 cyp sensors are in the engine and not the dizzy? Anyone 2nd that? Or did I hear that wrong? Bump!

CYP and CKP are 2 different sensors.

Code 4 = CKP ( Crank fluxuation sensor ) which is located down near the oil pump

Code 9 = CYP ( Cylinder position sensor ) which is located inside the dizzy housing on 97-01 preludes. It may however be a seperate sensor for 4th gens and lower, but dont quote me on that.

Pickup a helms manual and follow the next thing in the chain of events. Check wires for opens or shorts, check for corrosion on any of the connectors etc...

Usually swapping the dizzy fixes the issue unless you have an open in the wire elsewhere.
