ACURA RDX
just think it is an interesting lil project honda has. Its a TURBOCHARGED i4 2.3L making 240hp and 260 lbs torque.
WOnder if its a Kseries w/ transverse tranny.... if so do i smell engine swaps coming??? ahha j/p be a neat idea tho, n a nice set up.
oh n it has VFT: With the variable flow turbo (VFT), Acura has devised a simple, yet elegant solution for reducing turbo lag. At low rpm, a long valve smoothly narrows the incoming passage and speeds the exhaust flow. This keeps the turbine spinning quickly, so there is plenty of turbo boost at low rpm. As rpm rises, the valve opens, allowing the increased exhaust volume to flow freely through a second intake chamber, keeping turbo boost high. The forced intake air is cooled through a top-mounted intercooler, making the air denser and allowing it to burn more powerfully. The result is the instant and steady power delivery of a much larger engine, while retaining the light weight and cruising efficiency of four cylinders.

engine swap potential, there are H22s, B20s, K20s in integras............... and plus love for the honda.
and a turbo 2.3L i-vtec doesnt sound bad in an integra.
wow someone has a temper dont they, "WTF does this have to do w/ Integras?" ahah that cracks me up...

there's no "butthurt" here, i own an integra and some people dont go to the SUV section, and i think that its an interesting setup and possibly if things pan out it could be a nice engine swap.
Am i wrong? to post a possible engine swap for an integra in the integra section?
I admit it can go in the SUV section but not all integra owners go there.
also its only a forum no need to be all up tight about it.

Yeah i read about that motor in one of my super street magazines. I can't find the damn mag though. I do remember that the turbo is an original design from honda and it have some sort of valve system that at low speeds closes the turbo inlet like half way and at high rpms or throttle opens up all the way for maximum power.

if you go on acuras website they have details about the car on it, this could be like when i forgot who swap the b9 tribeca engine into a wrx ahaha or w/ the rwd/awd crv into that one integra
It be a nice swap dont you think, and that turbo sure does help w/ the oh so often lack of torque for hondas. 260 lbs of tq... be nice on an integra chasis. think of the acceleration
