Default my B16

Hey everybody, I own a '94 del Sol and recently my dad and I swapped in a B16 that I got from hmotorsonline. This was my first car and my first time driving anything equipped with a b-series motor so i wasnt real sure how it was supposed to run.

Anyhow i'll cut to the chase, i got it dynoed the other day and it put down 157whp and 114wtq. Are these decent #'s for a B16 with only i/h/e?

Oh, sorry one last thing, my VTEC crossover was real late, around 6200 rmps i believe, does anybody know what might cause this? I am using the P30 ecu that came with the motor.

Thanks.

Engine code... as in B16A?? The one out of an SIR-II. Anyhow, yeah VTEC literally kicks in at 6200 rather than crossing over at 5500 like it should, also my redline is at 7750 instead of 8250. Any ideas will be helpful, thanks.

Usually. You can get the best tunes w/ hondata and it has the most features.

open up the ecu. top cover. with the plugs on the left side... the chip is in the lower right corner, if there is a chip. it will be empty if there is not a chip.
