Default Spoon drop in filters...

I know spoon parts are all expensive, but what is the difference from an oem filter and a spoon drop in filter? Or are you paying 120 bucks for the name?

we pay for the NAME everyday !! here's my $ 0.02

cost of a T-Shirt made overseas = $0.10, then brought to the states... wholesale $2.00 (each)... put a NAME Lable on it + $2.00 .... deliverd to a local Mall to be retail for $25.00 + we get Taxed !! and at the end is just a Damn Shirt !

but don't we love to waste our money !!

I don't have a spoon drop in filter... but I have an AEM intake that does what is supossed to do !

The Spoon filters will most defenitely give you a performance increase as compared to the stock filter element as a result of a a greater surface area and more free flowing filter, but for 120 dollars you could buy an entire intake and get the same performance increase. Most of the 120 dollars you pay for the spoon product is for the name. If you're really dead set on keeping the stock airbox, get a K&N drop in filter for 40 bucks, or else I think your money would be better spent on a full intake system rather than just the filter.

well i know is expensive but spoon filters have a different texture which allows it to suck up air at a higher rate.. but for the money i dont think is worth the perf.increase...as for the spark plug there just denso with a higher heat range and the upper conductor is gold..if you want here is the part number from denso: ik24 b-series. buy it at a auto store way cheaper.
