Alignment results ... fixing caster?
Ok so i just had an alignment done on my 97 gsr today ... the front passenger wheel was slightly off in all three dimmensions, due to a minor incedent where i slid sideways off of a 3" shoulder ... here are the results ... the toe was way off, but he obviously corrected that w/ tie rods etc. ... the camber is about a degree more positive than normal, and the castor between 0 and 1 degree more negative than normal ... the mechanic said it would be fine to drive on now that the toe is corrected, but recommended getting a kit to fix the camber/castor issue sometime in the near future ... right now my car has all stock suspension components, however this fall im looking to get new suspension (kyb agx w/ either h&r sport or race) ... fortunatley, i am already planning on getting a camber kit ... but my question is, is there a kit that can provide both camber and minor castor adjustment? ... if so who makes one? ... or am i better off finding out what is bent to cause the negative castor and replace it? ... any feedback is appreciated ... also ... the handling feels fine when i drive the car, it tracks perfectly straight, and although i have not done any hard cornering, it feels just like it always has ... any help will be greatly appreciated ... thanks!
thanks for the feedback ... do you have any idea which parts commonly cause this castor problem when they bend/fail? LCA? frame?
