LX with Fogs AND Interior leds ? Limited switch space.
I have a friend that recently purchased a 2006 LX Coupe. And not too long ago, she ordered factory fog lights, and the underdash interior illumination leds. I was chosen as the installer. I recieved both boxes yesterday, and upon examination I noticed that both switces go in the same location. Problem is the car came with power mirrors, and that switch doesnt take up one slot, but 2. And thus I dont have space for 1 more switch. What are my options aside from mouting the less important switch somewhere out of sight ?
They say you can't have both installed, it's one or the other.

Not really. They are LED's which are different. Plus, IMO, they look good by not overpowering, but rather accenting the cars interior. I think it adds a nice little flare.
Ive though about seeing if I couldnt put them in my car.

I plan to eventually convert that kit to red and put them in my SI... will have to be a hide-away switch though. I don't believe there is any other way.
As per handa-accessories saying you cant install the fogs and courtesy lights together, its because they use the same fuse. Youd have to run one from a direct line. I havent even looked at the fusebox to see if honda has direct line connections there or not. If not you will need a line from the battery...which sucks

I got the fogs and leds installed today, job went pretty smooth and results were great. For now I have the led switch hidden away under the steering column lower panel. I may just cut an openning in the left side coin pocket, it should be totaly hidden, and wont take away from the pocket its self.
