car will not run...(searched)
the timing is correct, there is spark, i do not hear the main relay click, i do not hear the fuel pump turn on, it will start sometimes but always turns off... i performed the test on page 11-110 judging from that i have to replace my fuel pump because i am getting battery voltage.

here is a picture of my main relay...it looks fine to me anyone think it doesnt? i'd rather not replace it if i don't have to. it's not clicking when i turn to the II position.

i just re-checked all fuses, all the fuses are fine, the battery is fully charged, and when i said it runs but turns off, it might run for a couple of minutes...is this the car just sucking up the fuel already in the lines? i think it's the fuel pump unless there is a different relay than the main relay that could be bad.
well, it is not the fuel pump, i just replaced that bastard & she still didnt start...though when i was trying to start her i heard the main relay clicking over and over...& i could have sworn i heard the fuel pump prime for a second while it was clicking over and over...i'm going to replace the main relay tomorrow...and if that doesnt work, what else could it be??? anyone??
edit: i also swapped ECU's, same thing... also when i hooked the negative terminal back up the car beeped once like the keys were in the ignition...but they werent...is that normal? i don't think it is...

If the car starts but will turn off by itself I would suspect the ignition switch. They were problematic on the 88-91 Civic/CRX's. I just replaced the switch on my moms 89 Civic sedan. It was $65 from the dealer. The contacts on the electrical proportion get corroded and this doesnt allow voltage to pass through, completing the circuit. If you are sure of your t stat ground, main relay, all fuses, and ign coil then I would suspect the switch. hth

Replace the main relay with a known working one. I bet it's the relay, just cause it clicks doesn't mean it works. Mine will click, and let the car run for like 2 minutes then kill it. Sometimes it will only let it run for 10 seconds. I've seen it shut off after 2 hours of driving aswell...they suck.
Cory man is right aswell, replace the ignition switch with a known working one.
If the car starts and runs for a while it's more then likely not grounds because it's running, usually a ground issue for something like this won't let it run at all, not even catch.

damn relay did not work...one time the fuel pump came on...the check engine light does not come on(except that one time).... thermostat ground? it clicks over and over...real fast when i try to start it and when it's in the II position...bad ground? loose wire? i'm ready to burn this car to the ground

well i'm an idiot, it was the ground...good thing too i ran out of stuff to change
