Default Flea Fogger inside the car?

i was just wandering if it would be ok to use a flea fogger inside my car, i have ants in it and they just wont go away. just got the car 3 days ago.

there is no carpet in it right now, and i can easily take out the seats and cluster. anything else i should pull out? or would it hurt anything at all?

I'd say no to that one you never know what kind of residue that will leave behind.

Where are the ants coming from?

they were under the carper on the passenger side.

they are now running a trail along where the trim is at the passenger door, go under the dash and the trim right behind the passenger door (hatchback)

*begins poking them with finger 1 by 1, they gotta die, all have to die*

The only sure fire way to get rid of ants is to find the source of what they are after.

put some ant traps in the car. or you can tape your dash/interior/windows up and let off a bomb.. ants die and youhave no residue. i imagine it wont be too bad since they do let them off in home's.

guess that wouldnt be too bad.

didnt know they made ant traps, i might do that.

still need to strip the rest of the interior anyways to paint it, so i can find the source hopefully

ya they do sell ant traps.. go to a hardware store and look in the REpelant section and they are little boxes that trap the ants.. i use them on my deck and they do a pretty good job.. i replace them about once a month and i buy a 6 pack of them everytime.

if they are still in your car and even after doing mass murder you still have some left, it probably means there is some source of food in the car that they are feeding off of. Also thier lil trail is a nice way to find out where in the car they are nesting and would be simple to pull pannels and carpetting and vac um out.

It's o.k., I done it awhile back and I'm still the same as I was back then. Just make sure you air out the car for a few hours, I also left some Ajax on the floor boards it'll leave a white residue but ants can't stand that ****.
