Default Wiring the knock sensor...

When I swapped the motor (had an f22a1) I originally had a knock sensor code. I rewired a bunch of stuff and the code went away (although I don't think I touched the kncok sensor)... temperarily.

I went to take a look at rewiring the sensor and found out that it is a sheilded wire. We used the f22 harness which has no knock sensor.

According to the wiring diagram the knock sensor ground should tap into:

-the negative on the shielded O2 ground(which is also grounded to the block and also taps onto B2 of the ecu.

- the shielded part of the CYP, TDC, and CKP sensors.
-also to A26 that goes to ECU.

My question is this: how do I wire it all? should I take a shielded wire, ground it at the ecu, block, and by the knock sensor as well as tapping into all the other sensors?

Do I even need to use a shielded wire? can I get a way with a regular wire from the ecu to the sensor?

Is there an easy way to get rid of the sensor, or to stop the code from tripping aside from getting a P28 and have it remapped?

Please, anyone with some insight I would greatly appreciate your help as I am about to take a trip that is 12 hours each way.
