Well my friends and I have come up on free passes to HIN in San Mateo. We'll be going tomorrow. So my question is..how's the weather over there ? Day and Night.

My friend has come into contact w/ S.F. street racing and is willing to take us out there, but I am a little sceptical b/c I don't know the terratoriy and haven't street raced in quite sometime. Anyone go out there ?

Is anyone going to HIN, I've never been.

I'm from http://www.bakersfieldstreetracing.com , we just had battle of the imports a lil' while ago, there's full event coverage there. A friend of my just won his class in his CRVTEC, he ran a respectable 13.4 on a 50 shot w/ full intirior and a baby seat.

So whats there to do up there ?!?!? I'm all the way over there in Bakersfield ?

 

Well during the day it's sunny, about 60's with a cool breeze. About 5:00 it starts to get colder, so dress warm. If you never been here, i suggest you go early, cause traffic is a bitch. Also the line for HIN is usually very long, so be prepared to wait in line forever. On a side note, SF has a lot of thefts especially with hondas and acuras, and a parking lot full of them is a great place for them to go shopping, so secure your car.

 

As far as what to do here...get a tourist map We have a lot of tourist attractions if you go down to fishermans wharf

 

i bet alot of cars are goin to be broken into or stolen that day at HIN. who cares about HIN anyways. a few of my boys are goin to enter...


its kinda hot during the day... somewhat breezye at times... but at night it gets chilly. i wouldnt drive all the way up here for no car show even if i had free passes. all the real female models are at so cal.

 

I used to be from the bay...and i've been going to shows like HIN for the past 5 years. Its a lot of fun, bring a camera with lots of film. I'm growing out of the car show scene, but if your a first timer to this, you'll have a blast. Lots of fine *** chicks...and lots of flashy cars with crazy conversions. One word of advice, dont bring a fixed up car to the show. It will get vandalized or jacked or some dumb kids will steal your emblems! And like the other's said, bring a sweatshirt and try to be at the doors early, cause its still not warm in the bay. Go to the street races after the show cause there should be 200-300+ cars out. Hook up with a group of people to show you around, and if cops ruin the whole night, hit the clubs and get lucky Good luck

weather's been nice lately. Nicer than the valley for sure. But cooler. I used to live in Visalia so I know your climate, damn I hate valley summers

 

i dunno about you... but the import models are also played out. the only cute ones are the illegal ones. (minors)

 

Im sick of car shows. Even though HIN is 10 mins from my house im not going. The cars are ugly, and looking at those girls is just teasing yourself.
