FLORIDA: 1989 Dodge Colt GT 300+whp
Yes, its finally for sale. I'm at the point in my life where i may be purchasing a business.
I'm not getting out of the game, but i've always wanted to build a awd 1g and i have the perfect car just sitting in storage waiting for a motor. So, the colt must go. (having two race cars is just not practical and i need to be more intelligent about how i spend money)
Specs on the car are as follows...along with pics and what is wrong with the car. Currently its my daily driver and has been 100% reliable since day one which has been 4 years now.
Modifications are as follows.
Car:
Original Colt GT
~110k miles on chassis (bushings are still in excellent shape)
~75k miles on motor (odometer reads close to actual mileage on motor, not car)
Engine:
4g63 (stock head/bottom end)
Evo3 16g Turbo (exhaust housing is ceramic coated)
2g Exhaust Manifold (ceramic coated)
2g 02 Housing (ceramic coated)
780cc injectors
Extrude Honed Intake Manifold
Evo1 Throttle Body
Evo1 IC
Evo1 IC Piping
2.5 Inch Downpipe
3.0 Inch Exhaust
Transmission:
ACT 2600 Clutch
91 FWD Transmission (Built, Upgraded Synchro's)
Kaaz Differential
Suspension:
Ground Control/Koni (rear)
Ground Control/Kyb (front)
RRE Camber Plates
Evo1 Dual Piston Front Brakes
RRE Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines
Evo1 Wheels
The car is making around 300whp, 300tq and weighs about 2350lbs. I've taken out the heater core, ac setup and a few other misc items.
Here are a few new pictures...

Transmission now grinds in 3rd gear when shifted hard...so that should be rebuilt. Driver Side Axle has a tear in the boot. EGT Gauge needs to be re-wired. Car does not have heat or air conditioning. I also have a spare shell which will be included with the car. It has a pretty straight body and a clean title...and can be used for parts. I removed the front/rear bumper supports so the spare car is good for those pieces and others as well.
I'm asking 5k and i really don't want to go any lower. I also have a friend making a twin disk setup for the car which will end up going in if i keep it for a few more months.
I would also consider a fully built longblock and the difference in cash...but that seems unlikely.
Give me a call, 860-459-8689
I'm located in St Petersburg.
