i would never trade slicks for drags...makin 225HP you should be fine with 23's but since your having a hard time get some 22's...and by the way your not supposed to spin slicks...they hook up and go...thats the point of having them

well, to answer the question, I really liked mine when I had them... they were the best drag radials I ever owned, and I will be buying another set soon.

I actually managed a 1.82 on these same tires launching on low boost ~220 ft-lbs.

you can go fast on these tires

but 97% of the time you will go faster on slicks...

but if you wanted them for the street it would be a deal

ive got my 60ft's down to a 2.01 with them. a little more burnout and seat time and i expect to see mid 1.9's. i have friends who got 1.8's out of them. and they are streetable unlike slicks.

wow do you people read?? he said he wants a review on the bfg 225's and how they hook.. he said he is NOT making ENOUGH power to spin his 23 inch slicks, and is wondering if the 225's would be overkill for street use at that power level... my advice is that the more traction the better, i ran 225's for 2 years now, and i stepped up to 235's now due to power change, but yea even if your making 150 whp that tire is awesome for street use.. gl

sorry mom.

go with 225/50/15 Toyo RA1's. its a better all around tire if you wanna do more then just go straight since you say you're going to be daily driving on these. wear is a lil better and we run these on our all motor cars as well as turbo cars.

yea. bfg's are good. but i wouldnt trade your slicks for them. i would cut consitant low 1.9's with then and ever third pass or so would knock off a 1.8 sixty foot. but yea. they wear out fast. i woudlnt trade if i was you.
