Ok I am thinking about selling my wheels. I have 15" konig villans
I like the way they look and because they are a 5 star and I know they will never go out of style. but all these new inexpensive JDM knockoffs are getting me tempted to switch what should I do???

I've seen some black powdercoat like that and it's kinda nice.

 

Lower it and put some slipstreams on it

Dont get rid of your Konigs, dont be like everyone else and get Rotas. Just lower your car and get your stock tails back. YOur car is really nice with those rims, stick to them

ower your car 2.5" 's keep every thing else. I think those tail light dont look all that bad on your car. At least you didnt put tail lights on your car and then bam you thought you had a perf machine. You got DOHC hehe

I think you should get some lightweight 17" and give your car 1.5" drop , that would be the bomb!!

 

What I am actually going to do is use stained glass dye to make the tails completly RED it has a very cool Crystal look..............
and suspension is on the way..... Im a broke *** so one thing at a time
and by the way those wheels only weigh about 14.0 lb so they are not super heavy.

No don't lower 2 and a half inches, that's too low. Even with a 1.5 inch drop I sometimes bottom out

 

too low??? ok..... i bought my GF a crx that already came w/ neuspeed sport springs and just recently i noticed that its lowered..... its pointless to even consider buying those (im putting tanabe sustecs in it next) but 2.5 on a crx is perfect if you don't wanna slam it but eliminate most of the tire-wheel gap (although i personally like the +3" drop on most hondas)

No they don't, they look bad on a white CRX. He needs to sell them to me so I can put them on MY white CRX

On the drop. I have Eibach Sportlines with 2" drop all around. It's perfect for the 17's I have. The front dips down a little to like 2.25" cuz of the engine, and it gives it more of an agressive launch stance. I say keep the wheels and drop it a little.

Save yourself some money and powdercoat them black or gunmetal and drop the car a little

 

I say lower your car, first. Ditch the clears, if you really like them then keep 'em, but I think it would look better w/ stockers. Then see how you like your wheels. I think it would look fine once you did that. Don't make the mistake of getting some heavy *** 17's you will regret it. Been there, done that. I'm now rolling 15" Kosei K-1's in Gun Metal. Don't get some spoon knock-offs just cause JDM is cool. Get what you like. I personally think the Spoon knockoffs, are played out. Do what you like man. BTW are you going to Niagra? I'm dropping the big bad CTR project motor in the car tomorrow. Hope to see ya there. Peace.
