*** NEW PICS OF EVENT ON 9/9/06 on page 2 ***
Thought I'd share some photos that a friend (bryant) took of my car at a recent SCCA PDX (performance driving experience??) at the new Miller Motorsporst Park in Tooele, Utah (30 mins west of SLC). He was only able to take photos from the hot pits or the pavillion, since none of the other spectating areas are open and he didn't want to corner work. They are great shots though, and he is an awesome photographer. Check it out...

Full res of these can be found here:

All of Bryant's photos from this track day are located here:

full track configuration is 4.5 miles. longest road course in the US.
we raced just the east track (half configuration), so it was only 2.xx miles, but it will still fun as hell. only $125 to go for 4 sessions that are 20-25 mins each.
my group of friends and i will be racing the full track in september with SCCA. should be exciting.

nt01's, 205/50/15
in fact i was going to ask you guys how much hot tire pressure i should be running. i tried 35PSI then 30PSI hot, and i was still scrubbing a crapload more than I think I should be.
last time I was there I had hoosiers on up front, but they gave up the ghost that day. driving with the hoosiers up front and nt01's in the rear gave the car the tendency to oversteer which I absolutely loved because it was predictable.
on the nt01's on saturday though, i was understeering and squeeling them all over the place. maybe i was just spoiled on the hoosiers. damn, too bad they're so expensive.

yes it it has some nice elevation changes, especially when you look at the full track. the east track that I was racing that day has an uphill section on the far back side, that leads to a sharp downhill chicane section that rocks my world.
the track designer that was hired for this project has designed numerous tracks around the world and this is his crown jewel.

Out of curiousity, is that blue Civic hatch packing either a K24 or H22? I'm trying to figure out why the back of the hood is propped like that. Whatever the case, good looking stuff
