How to keep flywheel from rotating while torquing down flywheel bolts.
I remember reading it somehwere but can't find the thread for the life of me. So if someone could tell me what to do, i would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

get a chain and bolt one end of the chain to the flywheel through one of the pressure plate mounting holes...then bolt the other end to the block somewhere...

Unless I completley misunderstood the question - this is what I do.
Use a long breaker/ johnson bar with a 19mm socket and put it on the crank pulley. Tighten down the flywheel and the bar will eventually work around and catch on something such as the ground. This way is much more stable and safe than the other methods listed.

Then i would never learn how to do anything on the car myself, and would end up paying *** raping prices just to get anything done. And we all start somewhere.
And i did have an idea on how to stop it from turning but wanted to verify my method as to make sure i wouldn't mess anything up.

screwdriver on the flywheel teeth . Or put a socket and long ratchet on the crank pulley,it will lock up against the floor and prevent the flywheel from moving.
i jsut thread in a tranny case bolt, then u can stick a pry bar or large screw driver against it and the flywheel teeth.
this method should break nothing as it is close to how the manual reccomends you lock it inplcae. jsut that they have a fancy dooo hickey that bolts to the block with a tooth sticking out to lock the ring gear,
