clutch fluid the same as power steering or brake fluid?
I use dot 4 in my non-ABS brakes. There is no harm in it. Dot 4 boils at a higher temp. and you could use dot 4 in your clutch too, it wouldnt make a difference, I use it just because I dont see the need to buy two diff bottles of fluid.
but this thread is not about the difference between dot 3 or dot 4, etc.
edit: now that I think about it, I think I use dot 5. Why, you ask? because I can, and because I race my car sometimes, so

I hope you're not using DOT 5, considering that it is silicone-based and will coagulate when mixed into the system with any residual glycol-based DOT 3/4/5.1 fluids.

i flushed the system when i put the fluid in. I am still not really sure which one I am using though, lol. maybe it is just dot 4. whatever.
