Default upper ball joints

how do you replace the upper balljoints in an ef? they are like welded to the a-arms. i wanted to replace the balljoints with some with an offset for camber correction. do you have to grind them off and reweld new ones?
i cant even get them to come off the spindle with a pickle fork, so now i need new ones, cuz now the boots are torn.

if anyone has any info/expierence please help

Default Re: upper ball joints (bugster)

later EF's 90-91 had removable upper balljoints on the a arm. you have to get newer arms if you want to replace just the balljoint.
